Climate of Our Youth, explores the intersection of personal history and the sociopolitical climate of the cynical 1990s. I use vibrant colors and motifs drawn from 90s pop culture – to evoke nostalgia and familiarity while commenting on the present.
These works are a dialogue between then and now. Today, anxieties around social justice, the next generation and education demand our attention.
