My series, "Raw," confronts the stark realities of 2024, a year marked by conflict and its devastating impact. Created on raw canvas, these works reflect the rawness of the emotions I experienced witnessing the ongoing Israeli-Palestinian conflict, a deeply personal reality for me as my family lives in Israel.

Beyond the physical dangers, I've seen firsthand how war erodes empathy and fuels hatred, particularly among the youth. The miseducation, lack of dialogue, and unwillingness to seek peace perpetuate this cycle of suffering. "Raw" grapples with these complex emotions – the fear, anger, frustration, and sense of loss. This series is both a personal reflection and a call for introspection. It asks viewers to consider the role governments play in perpetuating violence and the responsibility we all have to challenge the systems that divide us. I hope "Raw" encourages viewers to engage with these critical issues and seek a more peaceful future.
